Kalmakumpu on Roope Erosen kokeellinen lastensarjakuva lumotusta lemmikkieläinten hautausmaasta ja sen asukkaista.Sarjakuvan hahmot perustuvat suurimmalta osin lukijoiden ehdotuksiin. Kalmakumpu ilmestyy kahdesti vuodessa. Sen ensimmäinen osa julkaistiin syksyllä 2025.
Kalmakummun tavoitteena on syventää lasten suhdetta sarjakuvaan siinä käytetyn laajan tunnespektrin avulla. Teos pyrkii kehittämään lukijoiden empatiaa sekä vahvistamaan lapsen asemaa lukijana. Teoksessa luotetaan lapsen kykyyn käsitellä myös vakavia asioita luetun kautta. Kalmakummussa käsitellään kuoleman eri ulottuvuuksia turvallisessa ja lempeässä ympäristössä.
Näyttely esittelee sarjakuvan hahmoja ja tunnelmia. Se juhlistaa toisen Kalmakumpu-albumin ilmestymistä.

The Oulu Comics Festival fills the city with panels once again in this year. The festival is the largest annual comics event in the arctic region.
