Oulu tenth Comics Festival will be held 18-21 Nov 2021. The Main venue of the festival is Oulu City Library, and Comics Library Sarjasto (Kaarlenväylä 3, Oulu)
The program for the 2021 festival will be released in the fall. You can participate in the program mainly live at Oulu. We’re also actively developing virtual discussion to the event.
The upcoming festival will include something old, new, borrowed and blue. The stage program is mainly like old good days and partly live-streamed. Virtual events and exhibitions are even more new. The content is borrowed from comic artists and the event is held under the blue sky of northern Finland, but not under the open sky.
We follow the Corona situation and build the festival accordingly. We organized the Oulu Comics Festival 2020 when here was a corona exception situation and we learned a lot from it. We want to continue to take care of the health safety of our visitors and offer an unforgettable experience.
