Emi Gennis - Oulun sarjakuvakeskuksen residenssitaiteilija Limingan taidekoululla - opettaa 27.-31.10.2025 sarjakuvateon kurssin. Kurssilla käydään läpi perinteinen sarjakuvanteon työlinja lähtöideasta luonnosteluprosessin kautta valmiiseen teokseen. Viikon aikana tavoitteena on saada valmiiksi kolme valmista sivua sarjakuvaa. Kurssi sopii kaikille sarjakuvien ystäville ja omasta julkaisusta haaveileville.
Emi Gennis on pitkän linjan palkittu sarjakuvantekijä ja opettaja, jonka informatiiviset teokset keskittyvät historiallisiin ja poliittisiinkin aiheisiin. Hän on myös Columbus College of Art and Design -koulun täyspäiväinen sarjakuvaopettaja.
Emi Gennis - Oulu comics center residential artist in Liminka school of arts - is giving a workshop on making comics 27. - 31.10. The workshop concentrates on the traditional comics workflow from an assignement through thumbnails and sketching process all the way up to finalised pages.Emi Gennis is an established cartoonist and comics educator focused on historical and political subjects. She teaches regurlaly as Associate Professor at Comics & Narrative Practice in Columbus College of Art & Design.
