    Hajonneita ruutuja - pienoisnäyttely mielenterveyttä käsittelevistä sarjakuvista

    Marraskuussa Oulun Sarjakuvafestivaalien ajalla Hyvän mielen talon vitriineissä ja aulatilassa nähdään pienoisnäyttely mielenterveyttä käsittelevistä sarjakuvista.

    Mari Pyykönen on tehnyt Hyvän mielen talolle opinnäytetyönä bibliografian mielenterveyttä käsittelevistä sarjakuvista. () Pienoisnäyttely koostuu bibliografiaan valituista sarjakuvista. Mari on paikalla Hyvän mielen talon olohuone Ilonassa 10.11. Klo 12-13.

    Pyykönen kertoo opinnäytetyössään, että mielenterveyskokemusten esille nosto on äärimmäisen tärkeää, jotta ihmiset voisivat kokea, että eivät kamppaile näiden asioiden kanssa yksin. Tarinoiden ja kokemusten jakaminen sekä mielenterveyden häiriöiden normitttaminen ovat keinoja murtaa mielenterveyden ympärillä vellovaa häpeää ja stigmaa. Tällöin kynnys puhua ja hakea apua ei ole niin korkea.” (2020, 7.)

    Broken Frames – An exhibition of Mental Health Comics at Cheerful house 10. - 30.11.2022.

    In November during Oulu Comics Festival, you will be seeing Broken Frames an Exhibition of Mental Health Comics at Cheerful house.

    Mari Pyykönen has made a bibliography of comics dealing with mental health as a thesis for the Cheerful house. The exhibition consists of comics selected for the bibliography.

    Mari Pyykönen is going to be at Cheerful house in Ilona 10.11. 12-13.
