Oulun Sarjakuvakeskuksen kielikahvila kokoontuu joka keskiviikko klo 17:00-19:00 Sarjastolla (Oulun Kaupunginkirjaston 3. kerros). Kielikahvila on kohdennettu maahanmuuttajille ja turvapaikanhakijoille. Kaikki tapahtumasta kiinnostuneet ovat luonnollisesti tervetulleita. Sarjakuvakielikahvilassa osallistujat pääsevät lukemaan ja tekemään sarjakuvia. Kahvilassa keskustellaan pääasiassa suomeksi ja englanniksi sarjakuvan kieltä luonnollisesti unohtamatta.

International Comics Cafe gathers every wednesday 17:00-19:00 at Sarjasto (third floor of the Oulu City Library). The Comics Cafe is open to everyone. Participants get to read and draw comics together. In the Cafe we communicate mainly in Finnish and English. And in the international language of comics of course.
The Oulu Comics Center has panels for every day to look, to read, to borrow, to buy and to draw. In the Comics Library, Sarjasto, you can experience panel filled moments and marvel on the spot or borrow and take home. Street art brings a riot of colors to the streets and fairways. The Oulu Comics Festival fills the city with panels once again in this year. The festival is the largest annual comics event in the arctic region. The capital of Northern Comics is a lively and inspiring meeting place in the field of comics culture.
