The third exhibition of Oulu Comics Festival takes place with Icelandic Comics. The exhibition is an overview of Icelandic Comics and 14 Comic Artist are taking place at the exhibition. The Exhibition is curated by Úlfhildur Dagsdóttir from Reykjavik City Library, Comics Department. The exhibition is part of the Arctic Comics Network cooperation and Oulu Comics Festival held November 5-8 2015.
14 Artists have been invited to the Exhibition: Bjarni Hinriksson, Jan Pozok, Halldór Baldursson, Hugleikur Dagsson, Lóa Hlín, Hjálmtýsdóttir, Sirrý Lárusdóttir and Smári Pálmason, Elísabet Rún Þorsteinsdóttir and Elín Edda Þorsteinsdóttir, Sunna Sigurðardóttir, Þórey Mjallhvít, Þorri Hringsson and Kristján Jón Guðnason.
Úlfhildur Dagsdóttir is also one of the guests of the annual Arctic Comics Seminar. Úlfhildur Dagsdóttir will speak about the Comics Department in Reykjaviks City Library and about the Comic Art Scene in Iceland. The seminar takes place in November 5 – 6 at Cultural Centre Valve, Oulu.
Úlfhildur Dagsdóttir is also presenting the artists and their works at guided exhibition tour on 5th November at 5 pm.
