  Limingan taidekoulun sarjakuvalinjan tarina / The Story of Comics in Liminka School of Arts

  Limingan taidekoulun sarjakuvalinja on Suomen vanhin sarjakuvaopetusta antava taho, josta valmentuu sarjakuvantekijäksi. Nykypäivänä linja on kaksivuotinen, mutta opiskella voi yhden tai useampia vuosia.

  Vasta-alkajat saavat perustaidot, ja harjaantuneemmat löytävät uusia ideoita ja lähestymistapoja sekä mahdollisuuden keskittyä vuodeksi sarjakuvan tekemiseen.

  Sarjakuvalinjalla opiskelee 40 – 50 ihmistä vuosittain kahden sarjakuvaan erikoistuneen opettajan opastamana, ja erityiskursseja vetämään kutsutaan alansa osaajia.

  The Comics class in Liminka School of Arts is the oldest school of comics in Finland, from which you can graduate as a comic artist. In the present day the studies last for two years, but the students can also choose to study for just one year or more.

  Beginners learn the basics and more advanced students find new ideas and points of view and the opportunity to focus on making comics for a year.

  In the Comics class study 40-50 students every year with two teachers specialized in comics and guest teachers are invited to hold special courses.

  Keijo Ahlqvist, Hannu Lukin and Tessa Astre are sharing Liminka School of Arts' memories of the past and information about the present.
