Oulu Comics Center organizes an opportunity for comic book artists to introduce\u00a0their ideas and projects to a jury which consists of representatives of numerous publishing houses.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4142\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oulucomics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/sarjakuvapitsaus_web.jpg\" alt=\"sarjakuvapitsaus_web\" width=\"600\" height=\"361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.oulucomics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/sarjakuvapitsaus_web.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.oulucomics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/sarjakuvapitsaus_web-300x181.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Comics Pitching is a one of a kind possibility to get new contacts and to get direct feedback from professionals publishers of the comic book industry. The Jury:<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Vesa Kataisto<\/strong>\u00a0(T\u00e4ysi K\u00e4si)<strong>,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Harto Pasonen<\/strong>\u00a0(Arktinen Banaani) and<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Jarmo Stoor<\/strong>\u00a0(Nispero kustannus). Oulu Comics Center Director<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Harri Filppa<\/strong>\u00a0leads discussion. Each participating artist has exactly 5 minutes to introduce their project.\u00a0In\u00a0the presentation you\u00a0must use a slideshow in which the slides will change automatically every 15 seconds.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0 Please send 15 numbered slides (1600&#215;1200 pixels, jpg) to Oulu Comics Center via e-mail (sarjakuvaoulu@gmail.com) if you want to participate in Comics Pitching as an artist. Deadline is 8th of November. In your e-mail please\u00a0state your name and the name of your project and write a short description of your project.\u00a0<em>Only\u00a0about six\u00a0artist can be chosen for Comic Pitching.
