    Deirdre ja hänen herransa Thorkel heräävät Nastrandilla, vainajien rannalla... Siellä kuolleet voivat peseytyä sen sijaan, että päätyisivät Valhallaan. Deirdre ja Thorkel kamppailevat selviytyäkseen ja ymmärtääkseen tuntematonta. Kuolema on ja tulee aina olemaan tuntematon määränpää.

    Nastrand - Vainajien ranta (Zum Teufel 2022) on tanskalaisen Søren Mosdalin (s. 1972) ensimmäinen suomeksi julkaistu sarjakuvakirja. Se on vauhdikasta ja groteskilla huumorilla varustettua viikinkikauhua. Tarinan pohjana on tuhat vuotta vanha runo Völuspá, ”Näkijättären ennustus”. Se tunnetaan tärkeänä osana Eddaa, skandinaavista muinaistarujen kokoelmaa.

The Oulu Comics Festival fills the city with panels once again in this year. The festival is the largest annual comics event in the arctic region.
