Valve adventure is an adventure course where kids can act as private detectives.
Valve adventure is a compelling detective story where the adventurer helps Mrs. Lystilä to solve the case of the missing book. The adventure takes it’s participants on a journey through the Valve buildings history.
The course’s waypoints use comics as a form of expression, and the clues gathered help you solve the big mystery. The backstory uses different timelines and takes you through the buildings past. It is a combination of fact and fiction. Included are: Oulu’s first female police officer, Kolkatan Manta and a pickpocket called Sakari Pakari. Supporting cast includes enthusiastic snowmen.
The adventure course is intended for kids in elementary school but can be attended by younger children also as long as one of the gruop is able to read.
The course is designed by the artists: Antti Kaarlela, Antti Kairakari and Elisa Raittila.
The course is free of charge during Valve’s opening hours monday through sunday from 10 am to 8 pm.
